They forget

you laughed as you drove

They laughed at you and all

You were, 

For been yourself 

And you smile now 

In a distant place

Where words 

Hold you captive 

And dreams become reality

You remember those 

who forget you with ease

Inside you’ve captured 

The lesson learnt

The experience dawned 

All Held inside until the 

Final breath 

While their sand in hand

Is the vacuum of the world

You walked away from

And the emptiness of 

Small minds and drained souls
