The Growl

The Growl.

Embers redden where a soul lies

Surrounded by darkness blocking

The haunting whispers of words.

The growl hides in the shadow

Of laughter drowning in fear.

Exploring caverns of rainbow walls.

Its footfalls silent in the grey of

A mirror reflecting a lonely crowd.

The passing of a kindred spirit

Touches the voice, silencing the

Song to the low vibration of the

Melodic roar of the beast’s growl.
